Puppies will be picked up on the Saturday between their 7th and 8th week. The families each have 90 minutes to play with the puppies available before the next family is scheduled to come to choose their puppy. The puppies that are being shipped will be shipped on the day they turn 8 weeks old……The only exception to this is if the shipping day falls on a weekday and you need us to wait for a weekend because of work( we totally understand not being able to take time off of work) … we can hold and ship your puppy on the next upcoming weekend.
Be sure when reserving your puppy that the Puppy Pick Day (always a Saturday) will work with your schedule . Families coming here to pick up their puppy on puppy pick day must be able to come on the scheduled day at their scheduled time. Each family is given 90 minutes to play with the puppies and choose the one they want…..the next family will then arrive at their scheduled time so it’s important to be on time
The fee to ship your puppy to you is $350. This includes the flight, crate, health certificates from our vet that are required by the airlines and transportation to the airport ( We live an hour and a half from the airport so we often hire someone to do this because of our work schedules). If we board your puppy until the upcoming weekend, the boarding fee is $20/day.
We also offer to deliver your puppy for a fee of $75/hour one way…We can meet you half way or deliver your puppy to your door. For example….If you live on the north side of Chicago, that’s about a 3 hour drive one way ( we’ll go by google maps time )….So the fee would be $225. Or if you live in St Louis, that’s about a 5 hour drive so if we met you half way it would be $190 or to you door it would be around $375. This delivery service will be provided at our availability and discretion…ie, a trip to CA by car may be too far ……but then again, you never know Icy roads will often delay deliveries also….
All payments are due by Puppy Pick Day. If Payment is not received by then your puppy can be sold to someone else on the waiting list.
Final payments may be sent to us via mail and must clear bank before the puppy leaves our farm. If paying the day of pick up, you must bring cash or send payment thru Paypal. The Paypal payment must be clear before the puppy leaves our farm.
If we sound totally crabby about some of these things, we totally apologize…..but we’ve been burned a few times and we’ve learned from our mistakes ……We love doing what we do and we want this to be fun for everyone…us too !!
